Today is the 134th birthday of J. R. R. Tolkien, and this is the day when those who honor his memory toast to him. It’s simple–all you have to do is stand up at 9pm your local time, raise your glass, and say “The Professor!”, then take a sip before sitting down and enjoying the rest of your drink. Beverage is your choice and can be non-alcoholic if that’s your wish.
