Read About Today in History: March 24

Queen Elizabeth I, the last monarch of the Tudor dynasty, died on this day in 1603. She was succeeded by James VI of Scotland, who became James I of England. Elizabeth’s reign is considered to be a golden age in English history, so today, let’s read about her life. Below are two books by one of my favorite Tudor historians, Alison Weir. One is fiction, and one is non-fiction, so whatever you’re in the mood for, you can indulge.
